Close to Nature EcoCamp

One Day Camp

Our ONE DAY camp for kids from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. was held at EcoPark.

Neil and LDG also conducted a three-day non-residential camp at EcoPark in December 2016. Here are the details:

Venue : EcoPark Rajarhat (Assemble at the Tea Lounge, Gate No 3)
Daily Timing : 8:30 a.m. (reporting) and 4:30 p.m. dismiss.
Breakfast, Lunch and Tea will be provided.
Open to kids in the age group 8 to 17, boys and girls.
NOTE: The camp will run only if we have a minimum of 20 kids.
Camp Fee : All inclusive Rs 3750 payable through NEFT Transfer to Himalayan Footprints (we will send individual mailers with the payment details to all those who register).

Depending on the registrations, age groups etc, we plan to have a mix of the following activities and will finalize this once we get the number.

Water sports - Kayaking, water roller / water capsule
Land sports - Zorbing, archery, rifle shooting, Shot put, Javelin throw, cycling
Team games - Spider's Web, Steam Enging, Relays, Treasure Hunt, minefield, tent pitching, flag march, team posters
Learning activities - tea garden visit and study, butterfly park visit, Mother's Wax Museum visit
We are also planning a cycle ride to study nature in the wetlands (depends on the average age group)

We will also have an Indoor Rowing Championship during the camp - this will result in individual certificates in different age groups.
